Program of Study
The Master’s of Science in Nutrition - Advanced Career Track (ACT) is a 30-semester-hour, non-thesis program with the option to add the Dietetic Internship certification.
The MS- ACT curriculum provides a strong foundation in nutrition science, combining theoretical concepts with practical applications. Students learn to critically evaluate research through biostatistics and research methods. The program provides opportunities for students to explore human physiology and equips students to design and administer nutrition education programs for individuals and groups. The program also includes a variety of elective courses focused on food policy, health and disease management, and leadership skills.
The DI Curriculum prepares students through supervised experiential learning for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR) exam and, ultimately, a career as a Registered Dietitian.
