Beginning July 1, 2008, the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program began providing up to $4,000 a year in grant aid to undergraduate and graduate students and students enrolled in a post-baccalaureate teacher credential program, or current or prospective teachers. The program supports students who plan to teach in a high need field, as defined by the US Department of Education, in a low income school. For more information about the TEACH Grant, please visit the federal student aid. Students can complete the TEACH Grant Counseling and the Agreement to Serve on the Federal Student Aid website.
